After Thursday’s meeting, the six unions say they will “remain focused and form a bloc together to do whatever it takes to get back what was unnecessarily taken from them.” These are indexation, wage step and the lump sum. According to the unions, this has major consequences for the financial situation of all employees and is now starting to affect pensions.

“In other words, every day, month, and year that goes by, the consequences get bigger, so that’s reason enough to keep fighting for what’s been taken from us. We will not back down,” said the unions.
