WILLEMSTAD – Ticket sales for the 11th edition of the Curaçao International Film Festival will officially begin this Saturday. The festival, scheduled to take place from Wednesday, April 9, to Sunday, April 13, 2025, promises an exciting lineup of films and events.

Starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, tickets will be available for purchase online via curacaoiff.com and themoviescuracao.com. Additionally, tickets can be bought at the box office of The Movies Otrobanda, which will be open on weekends from 1:45 PM and on weekdays from 4:00 PM.

The complete festival program and film brochure are already available online. Starting Saturday, physical copies of the brochure can also be collected at both The Movies locations and will be distributed island-wide through the festival’s main sponsors, Banco di Caribe, the Curaçao Tourist Board, and Van den Tweel Supermarket.

During the festival week, The Movies Otrobanda will have adjusted opening hours. On Thursday, April 10, and Friday, April 11, the box office will open at 12:00 PM, while on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, it will open at 9:00 AM.

The 11th edition of the festival promises to be a special one, featuring a selection of over 60 films screened throughout the event at The Movies Otrobanda. In addition to film screenings, several masterclasses will be organized for film professionals.

These masterclasses will be conducted by industry experts such as Lot Vekemans, Jan Doense, Sharelly Emanuelson, and Ti-Shea Meadows, Vice President of Operations at SHO/MTVE Studios & Paramount Media Networks. Participation in the masterclasses costs NAf 15.

The popular CIFF Film Quiz will return on Tuesday, April 8. On Sunday, the festival will also host an interactive workshop for children aged 6 to 12.
