The trade unions within the Central Consultative Body in Civil Service Affairs (CGOA) and Minister of Administration, Planning and Services (BPD) Ornelio ‘Kid’ Martina were present at the signing.

One of the conditions is that the teacher in question must have been employed for more than five years and must have a positive evaluation.

With the signing, teachers of basic education, VSBO, HAVO-VWO and senior secondary vocational education will be paid in scales B and C. This was previously described in the recently published Ministerial Regulation (MR). A national decree containing general measures will replace the MR.
