The group of students of the Radulphus College and the International School of Curaçao joined the 5 km race as team ‘KIDS FOR KIDS’. Each runner was asked to look for sponsors that would in turn financially support a specific distance run. The purpose was to raise awareness and funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao Foundation (RMHC).

During the visit of the KLM staff at the RMHC in the Curaçao Medical Center, Mr. Maarten Nelis Area Controller Benelux, Dutch Caribbean & Surinam, surprised everybody by doubling the funds raised.
