– Gasoline prices will drop sharply again next Tuesday. For a liter of gasoline, drivers will pay 23 cents less at the gas station next month.

From 1 November, a liter of gasoline costs 2.35 guilders. For a liter of diesel drivers pay 2.19 guilders. That is four cents more than the previous rate. The increase in the diesel price is partly the result of an increase in the purchase price, according to price regulator Bureau Telecommunication and Post (BT&P).

Electricity will increase by barely half a cent per kilowatt hour on November 1. The cheapest tariff scale with a consumption of up to 250 kWh costs just under 79 cents per kWh in November.

The slight increase in electricity and water rates is the result of slightly lower average fuel costs for electricity production, respectively lower electricity costs for water production and a higher correction factor for electricity and water for September 2022.
