Former ENNIA director must repay more than three million guilders to the company

In February 2011, ENNIA Holding and Palm Management concluded a management agreement, with Palm becoming statutory director of ENNIA Holding on February 14, 2011 and of ENNIA Investments a year later, on January 1, 2012.

On top of that, Palm received a bonus from ENNIA worth 2.3 million guilders at its own request. In addition, ENNIA bought and gave Palm a car plus car allowance, medical expenses and security.

In June 2019, ENNIA placed a prejudgment order on several companies associated with Palm that participated through stock, as well as his assets, including his home.

During the lawsuit, the insurer demanded an amount of 3.8 million guilders in total. This amount includes everything ENNIA has paid. According to ENNIA, these amounts were received by Palm without any legal basis or rights to them.

In the final decision, Palm’s request to have the attachment lifted was denied. Ultimately, Palm was sentenced, together with his company, to repay an amount of more than 3.3 million guilders, plus interest from October 2019 until full payment.
