The motion called on the government to look for a new operator for the refinery and possibly to stop all negotiations with the intended successor of PdVSA, Curaçao Petroleum Refinery (CPR).

MFK wants PNP to do something about the two members of parliament so that they support government policy again. The party believes that as a coalition partner, it should not be surprised by coalition partners and dissenting opinions.

The motion ultimately ended with nine votes in favor and nine against, so it would not be carried out. A storm in a teacup, the two Members of Parliament concluded.
